Can a non-U.S. resident own a Wyoming LLC?
Yes. LLC ownership itself does not require U.S. citizenship or residence. Industry, bank, licensing and tax requirements may still apply.
Do I need to travel to the United States?
Formation and most records can usually be coordinated remotely. A bank, notary or other provider may require in-person or remote identity verification under its own rules.
Does an LLC mean no tax?
No. Wyoming’s lack of state income tax does not remove federal, other-state or residence-country tax duties.
Does “pass-through” eliminate double taxation?
That cannot be concluded without analysis. Federal classification and residence-country treatment may differ.
What is Form 5472?
A federal information return that may apply to a foreign-owned U.S. disregarded entity with reportable transactions. It is filed with a pro forma Form 1120.
What is the Form 5472 penalty?
The IRS states a USD 25,000 penalty for failure to file correctly and on time, with possible further penalties for continued failure.
Must I file BOI with FinCEN?
Under FinCEN’s notice current on 6 August 2026, U.S.-created entities and their beneficial owners are exempt. The rules can change.
Is owner information public?
Standard Wyoming Articles need not name members or managers, but the RA, banks, providers and authorities obtain owner information through KYC and other processes.
Do you offer complete anonymity?
No. We do not promise anonymity from banks, authorities, the Registered Agent or legal duties. We only explain disclosure in a specific public filing.
Why is a Registered Agent required?
It is a Wyoming-required provider with a registered office that receives defined correspondence and maintains required contact information. An independent partner provides this service for Go Solutions clients.
When is the Annual Report due?
Each year, generally on the first day of the LLC’s anniversary month. It can usually be filed in advance.
How much is the Annual Report fee?
At least USD 60 or 0.0002 of assets located and employed in Wyoming, whichever is greater.
Do I need an EIN?
It is often needed for federal tax identification, banking, processors and contracts. An EIN does not guarantee acceptance by any institution.
Can I get an EIN without an SSN?
In many cases a foreign responsible party without an SSN/ITIN uses Form SS-4 and the appropriate IRS route. The method depends on facts and current procedure.
Do you guarantee a bank account?
No. A bank or fintech makes its own KYC/AML decision. We can organise records but cannot promise an outcome.
Is Apostille required in the EU?
Only when the specific recipient requires authentication of an eligible public document. It is not automatic for every LLC.
Can an Operating Agreement be Apostilled?
It is a private document. A potential route may require signature notarisation and further authentication, depending on the recipient. Apostille does not approve the agreement’s substance.
How is a certified copy different from a PDF?
A certified copy is an officially certified copy from the filing authority. An ordinary downloaded PDF may not satisfy the recipient.
Is Go Solutions a law firm?
No. Go Solutions provides coordination, administrative and document services. Legal or tax advice requires a separate engagement with a qualified professional.
What happens after I submit the form?
The form is a qualification inquiry, not an order. Do not send passports or taxpayer numbers. We will reply with questions or a proposed scope.
What happens if the Annual Report is not filed?
After notice, failure to cure required fee delinquencies within the statutory 60-day period can lead to defunct status and forfeiture of the articles. Reinstatement is generally limited to two years and requires curing delinquencies.
