EIN without an SSN: what the process actually includes

An EIN is a federal taxpayer identifier issued by the IRS. The number itself is free, while correct data, signature and filing-route preparation require an organised workflow.

Indicative feefrom PLN 1,500* The final fee depends on data readiness, signature route and the agreed filing path. The IRS does not charge for the EIN itself. The Go Solutions fee covers only data preparation, Form SS-4, signature instructions, coordination of the permitted submission route and status follow-up.
Service design

An EIN workflow prepared before submission

Responsible-party data, SS-4, signature and the correct IRS route are organised as one process.

An EIN workflow prepared before submission
The EIN process organises SS-4 data, signature and the filing sequence before the IRS issues the number.
Qualification

Can an EIN be obtained without an SSN or ITIN?

In many cases a foreign responsible party without an SSN/ITIN does not use the online assistant and instead follows the Form SS-4 route accepted by the IRS. The identification entry, signature and submission channel depend on current instructions and the facts.

01

Entity data

The legal name, addresses and Articles data are aligned before SS-4 is prepared.

02

Responsible party

The correct person, identification status and IRS data set are identified.

03

SS-4 and signature

The form and signature instructions are prepared for an available submission route.

04

Submission and status

The route, status, corrections and secure delivery of the confirmation are coordinated.

Timing

The IRS controls the timeline

Timing varies by channel, workload, completeness and correspondence. We do not guarantee a date or promise an instant number.

An EIN provides

A federal entity identifier

  • a number used in specified IRS and business processes;
  • an IRS confirmation after the application is accepted;
  • one document required by some banks and providers.
An EIN does not provide

It does not replace other decisions or filings

  • a bank account or KYC approval;
  • a licence, good-standing status or a universal tax classification;
  • relief from Form 5472, the Annual Report or local duties.
START scopeIn START, a complete EIN workflow means SS-4 preparation, signature instructions, coordination of an available submission route and status. The decision and timing remain with the IRS.

Describe the goal — we will propose the right scope.

No order and no identity documents at this stage. You receive clarifying questions, a proposed scope, third-party costs and the rules for later years.
